Scholarship Program
Since 1993, PFATS and the NFL Foundation have worked together to sponsor annual scholarships. This program awarded 64 scholarships at $2,000 per award - totaling $128,000. Students must be in a masters or doctoral program in Athletic Training or have just graduated from said program to be eligible. You must obtain an internship with a team before you will be eligible for the scholarship. In addition to receiving a financial grant, each student selected will have the opportunity to work at an NFL summer training camp.
All Interested scholarship applicants can e-mail a cover letter, resume, and letter of recommendation from supervising Athletic Trainer that is precisely labeled last name then first name or initial with description i.e. resume no later than Dec 1st of each year to:
