Having previously served as the Director of Football Operations and Sports Medicine since 2011, Ferguson oversees the 49ers sports medicine, strength and conditioning, team logistics, grounds keeping, equipment and video operations departments.

Miller honored by Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society

Sayers John Miller, III, assistant professor of kinesiology at Penn State, has received the Most Distinguished Alumni Award from the Professional Football Athletic Trainers Society (PFATS) for 2013. He will be presented with the award on February 20, 2013, at the PFATS annual meeting to be held in Indianapolis, Indiana.
