Speakers Announced for the PFATS Session at the NATA Meeting!

Since 1986, PFATS has sponsored an educational workshop during the NATA Clinical Symposium. The educational session is named for Ronnie P. Barnes, the Sr. Vice President of Medical Services for the New York Football Giants. The PFATS Education and Research Committee coordinate this workshop and speakers include with PFATS members and Team Physicians. Discussions usually include case studies, and timely topics related to athletic health care in the National Football League.

The Miami Dolphins have named Ryan Grove as the team’s head athletic trainer. Grove joins Miami after spending 18 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers, including the past 15 years (1999-2013) as the team’s assistant athletic trainer.
