The PFATS Foundation is excited to announce an educational webinar, co-sponsored by our Founding Partner Gatorade Sport Science Institute. It is our sincere hope to give the opportunity for free continuing education to all Athletic Trainers affected by COVID-19.

Target Audience: Certified Athletic Trainers, Physical Therapists, and Occupational Therapists
Webinar Description: This webinar is a 3-hour virtual course focused on rehabilitation techniques to common football injures and overall RTP strategies. The athletic trainer will possess the knowledge and skills to progress common football injuries from acute injury to return to play and will understand rehab protocols and field strategies to enhance progressions for safe return.
Identify the effectiveness of reconditioning strategies for an athlete during rehabilitation and the effect on return to play.
List at least one example of the benefit of integrating a multidisciplinary approach for an athlete in late stage return to play.
Describe current rehabilitation techniques of general orthopedic injuries in football.
Describe current and effective manual therapy techniques for common athletic injuries.
Identify at least one example of including current technologies in rehabilitation that can provide objective measures to enhance exercise selection.
Continuing Education Units (CEUs): This course has been approved by the BOC for 3 Category A CEUs.
Cancellation Policy: Should this course not be able to take place as scheduled, all registrants will receive notice via email prior to the scheduled start of the course. Information will be given regarding any re-scheduling, as necessary.
